Below is a list of cards that will comprise our 25th TCG Anniversary Mini set, Celebrations, when it releases 8 October 2021. The set’s new cards will be legal in the Standard format on 22 October 2021. Cards from the Classic Collection will not be legal in the Standard format.

Celebrations will celebrate past Pokémon Trading Card Game mechanics in two ways: one, by bringing new Pokémon to old mechanics and two, by printing close remakes of classic cards in a special subset.

Special Subset - “Classic Collection”

Celebrations’ special subset is made up of special holofoil reprints of major cards from the Pokémon Trading Card Game’s past. The special reprint of these cards in Celebrations does not bring any of these cards back into the Standard format. To quote pokemon.com, “The Celebrations expansion includes a subset called the Classic Collection, which features cards from the entire history of the Pokémon TCG—all the way back to the Base Set. These cards are considered reprints of the original cards, meaning that they're only legal in formats where the original cards would be legal.”
