Celebrity Great British Bake Off’s Prue Leith sparked a lot of questions when she appeared on the latest episode of the series on crutches.

Worrying about what happened, it didn’t take long for viewers to get talking.

But don’t worry! We’re here to clear up any suspicion, and can confirm she’s back and fighting fit.

While filming the normal series of Great British Bake Off last year, Prue suffered a freak accident and snapped her achilles tendon.

The team – completed by Paul Hollywood, Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding – were performing a skit dressed like The Wizard of Oz when the accident occurred, and she rolled her ankle.

As a result, she was seen on crutches throughout the series while she recovered.

By the time the Celebrity Bake Off was filmed, Prue was still on the mend and would use her crutches when standing up for extended periods of time.

This is why she is seen both on and off crutches during her time on Celeb Bake Off.

Who has appeared and won on this year’s Celebrity Bake Off?

The line-up for this year’s Celebrity Bake Off will be as follows:

Episode 1 – Jenny Eclair, Louis Theroux, Ovie Soko, & Russell HowardJenny Eclair was declared the winner.

Episode 2 – James Buckley, Patsy Palmer, Richard Dreyfuss & Scarlett MoffattJames Buckley won after impressing with his bakes.
