Grace, beauty and purity and from the heavens describes my beloved little sister perfectly! So wonderful that she was called back to Heaven before she was here 30 years! Celeste is a beautiful name.

My middle name is Zeleste with the letter “Z”. I like my middle name. So we named her after that but with the letter “C” because my first name starts with the letter “C” (Corabelle), so I wanted her first name to start with the letter “C” too. We did the same for our son. My husband’s name starts with and “R” (Ricardo), so we named our son Ritchie. Celeste means heavenly.

Celeste was a name my dad picked out as a favorite when my mom was pregnant with me. They ended up naming me Erin, but I always thought I would use the name Celeste someday. With my youngest I decided to use Celeste as a middle name, but never could decide on a first name to go with it. The day she was born I decided she looked like a Celeste, so picked a middle name instead to go with it. I like how the meaning is heavenly and how the name relates in a small way to her sister, Novaana. The first part of Novaana is the name Nova which has different meanings, but the Latin meaning is “star”.
