Heir to the Kambe family fortune, Daisuke utilizes his vast wealth and cutting-edge technology to solve crimes in often heavy-handed ways. He works as a detective assigned to the Modern Crime Prevention Task Force (aka MCPTF) and partners with Kato. However, he has no intention of listening to what Kato has to say.

He got his start as a promising rookie in the First Investigation Division but was involved in an incident that resulted in his reassignment to the MCPTF.
