He is best known for his role as John B in the Netflix teen drama series “Outer Banks,” which launched on April 15, 2020, and was created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke. In 2015, he made his feature film debut in “Onekotan: The Lost Island.” “Tell Me Your Secrets” and “One Of Us Is Lying” are two additional television shows in which he has appeared. Chase Stokes was born in Annapolis, Maryland to Jeff Stokes and Jennifer Canning. He is the brother of Kaden Stokes and Kendall Nicole Stokes. When he was a few months old, his parents divorced. Stokes later moved with his mother to Atlanta, Georgia, and subsequently to Orlando, Florida, as a teenager, where he attended Timber Creek High School. In 2012, he graduated from Valencia College with a bachelor’s degree and went to the University of Central Florida to pursue an M.B.A. Seminole State College was also his alma mater.

Since he was a child, Stokes has had a strong passion for acting. He fought for a long time after finishing his education to break into the film industry, eventually appearing in the short film “Lost Island” in 2015. At the start of his acting career, Stokes had few appearances on television. He portrayed Ethan Terri in the short drama film “Base” in 2015. Other films in which he appeared include “Stranger Things” (2016), “Daytime Divas” (2017), and “Tell Me Your Secrets” (2018). (2021). In February 2019, he turned down an invite to audition for “Outer Banks” but later read for the roles of Topper and John B. He was eventually cast as John B and was needed to undergo scuba diving, swimming, and boat driving training. His performance in the film proved to be a career highlight, as it received accolades all over the world. The first season, which received favorable reviews, was released on April 15, 2020, and a second season was confirmed in July. In the same month, it was revealed that he would play TJ in “One Of Us Is Lying.” However, Chase was replaced after recording the pilot in 2019 owing to a scheduling conflict with the second season of “Outer Banks.”

In September 2020, Stokes and Madelyn Cline appeared in the music video for Kygo and Donna Summer’s hit ‘Hot Stuff.’ In terms of relationships, Stokes was linked to model Xio Montalvo. The pair, however, split in 2017. In June 2020, Stokes revealed his relationship with Madelyn Cline, his Outer Banks co-star. In October of 2021, the pair called it quits.
