Cheeki Breeki is not just another vodka brand- it's a bold expression of fun and triumph. The brand is inspired by the Russian phrase "AH NU CHEEKI BREEKI IV DAMKE," which roughly translates to "one, two, you're on top!" - a spirited declaration after achieving a king in a game of checkers. Our creative journey with Cheeki Breeki began with building a brand strategy that would effectively communicate its unique identity. The name itself followed a robust brand strategy that centered around activating influencers and lifestyle marketing.

Crowns fit for kings and queens

The brand identity was meticulously crafted to with a crown mark that ingeniously incorporates a hidden checkerboard pattern in its negative space, symbolizing the brand's name, story and its winning nature.

We built happy, explorative, and playfully branded content and lifestyle marketing assets for Cheeki Breeki to help their brand launch with an attitude that reflected their product.

Collateral and leave behind kits

Experiential marketing is key to getting new customers to explore and purchase your beverage. We created leave behind kits - coasters for bars and restaurants, and swag for the experiential marketing team to leverage.

Packaged for the win

The packaging we designed was built to stand out on any shelf, balancing the bold red back label with a clean white letter-pressed front plaque and a signature crown logo bottle topper. The back label has a checkerboard print inside that you can see when looking into the bottle at an angle, allowing buyers to take off the label and play a round of checkers. The bottle design invites you to grab a bottle, start a game, and celebrate life’s wins.

Capturing the winning spirit

We photographed the bottles to capture their uniqueness and highlight our favorite aspects of the physical design. The images were then used for branded content, campaign creative and digital storefronts.
