Ingredients

  • 50g popcorn kernels
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 25g Italian hard cheese, finely grated

Method

  1. In a medium, heavy-based, nonstick lidded pan, toss the popcorn kernels with 1 tsp oil. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and place over a medium heat. Leave to pop for 3-5 mins, gently shaking the pan now and then. When the popping has slowed to 3 secs between pops, remove from the heat.
  2. Tip into a large bowl and sprinkle with the paprika, cheese, and the remaining oil. Toss to coat.
