Amsterdam Chinatown is one of the youngest Chinatown in Europe and home to the largest Chinese Buddhist monastery in Europe.	The only official Chinatown in Belgium and the 2nd Chinatown in continental Europe to have its own archway	Established during the 1990s, this is one of the youngest Chinatowns in the world. The 2nd Chinatown in Paris in the multi cultural district of Belleville. The most colourful time to visit is the Chinese New Year during the annual parade. A new Chinatown in Singapore. It is the opposite of Official Chinatown; spontaneous, atmospheric and even authentic.	One of the oldest Chinatowns in South East Asia. Well hiddden for the observant traveller to discover.	A Chinatown that is not often heard of but yes, it does exist. No temples but lots of Chinese eating places and dentists.	A "double layer" Chinatown with pirated goods along traditional businesses behind it.	One of the first Chinatowns in UK and Europe founded in 1860. By the 1950s, ithas completed its mission and ceased to exist.

The oldest existing Chinatown in UK and Europe.	The second Chinatown of London that grew after WW2. In 2007, a plan was proposed to transform it into "Best Chinatown in the world".	A former Chinatown in the former capital of Laos and inside a UNSECO World Heritage Site.	The oldest Chinatown in Malaysia and one of the few Chinatowns inside a UNSECO world heritage site.	The 2nd largest Chinatown in UK and a “Chinese Village for the north of England”. It's impressive archway was the largest untill overtaken by Liverpool Chinatown.

Founded in 1594, the Manila Chinatown is one of the earliest and largest Chinatown in South East Asia.	Founded in 1877 and built by successive waves of migrants, Montreal Chinatown is a popular tourist attraction and a center of Chinese organisations.	Founded in 1868, it is not very big Chinatown but has one of the most beautiful archways in the world.	The largest Chinatown in USA and more than a century old.	A Chinatown that expanded greatly in the 1850s and whose early migrants faced great social challenges.

This is the largest Chinatown in Continential Europe. Famous for its Chinese New Year parade.	One of the oldest districts in Penang and one of the few Chinatowns within a UNSECO World Heritage site.	The latest marker of Chinese presence in Western Australia.	The largest Chinatown in Netherlands and a hub of cultural diversity.	The largest and oldest Chinatown in North America.

Created in 1822 by the British, this is the "Official" Chinatown of Singapore. It is one of the top tourist attraction in Singapore.	A small Chinatown in central Vientiane set against the larger backdrop of new Chinese migrants from mainland China.	It once had the largest archway in the world that is still of the most beautiful.	Although it is not officially known as a Chinatown, it is the main area where the Overses Chinese in Yangon have lived, built social institutions and continue to do so.	Founded in 1859, it is the largest Chinatown in Japan and in Asia. It is also said to be the second largest Chinatown in the world.
