As an educational care farm we have many animals, many rescue who have a forever home and of course help with the education and wellbeing of our students. Many of our young people have special education needs but thrive in an outdoor environment Its had work but very rewarding,

Rescue Alpaca called Al
We do what we can to rescue animals which not only gives the animals a forever home but gives our students new skills in looking after different animals. Learning about the animals feeding, temperament, behaviour and care. Our latest is a male Alpaca originally called Alice but now called Al. He was lacking company and due to his age 14 needed more time inside especially for the winter. He is well behaved and used to a halter. If you want to sponsor any of our animals or sponsor them please get in touch.

Wessex equine vet, with Caroline & George
It was a big day for George our donkey foal who has grown up so quick, born on 17th February which was special day as it was my mum’s birthday. George is 8 months old so time for an operation. Our local equine vet, Wessex equine vet did a great job supported by Caroline. A couple hours later he was up on his feet looking for treats. To hear more about his gelding operation please become a patreon and see & hear all the behind the scenes content from Chatty farmer chris.
As it is Chris’s birthday on 13th we did a fundraiser to help with vet bills and of course George’s operation.

Can you believe that it was 6 weeks ago today that I first shared our beautiful Nelly with you? Time is going by far too quickly.
Really hope you’ve enjoyed sharing her first adventures with us. Plus, there’s still loads more to share with you all too over the coming weeks and months. It’s going to be so much fun.
