Now that the spark of hype has long since settled, what are your thoughts of these saddlebags? Do you find them to be a godsend or would you have preferred to see the expanded space allocated to your retainer's storage instead or perhaps even to your own main inventory? Does the separate storage of the saddlebags which is accessible when out in the wilds make a difference or does it feel redundant in consideration of the idea of having the space integrated to your own inventory instead? In short do you find the Chocobo Saddlebags a useful or lackluster solution to your storage situation? ​

Gil 1,608 FFXIV Nevyn Kreiss FFXIV Server Ragnarok Free Company Haven my chatacter’s inventory is a big mess and my retainers are almost out of space! I mainly use the saddlebag to store crafting mats that I save for later or try to gather more of (even though sometimes I forgot about them sitting there )

It's permanent although I'm not exactly sure why they felt the need to call it "Chocobo saddlebag" since it can be accessed from the menu without having to have your chocobo summoned or even around - your feathery companion can even be stabled and you're access isn't curtailed in the slightest!

Character saddle back then technically, lmao. I'd say it's useful then! Specially if you can access it from anywhere. You can really sort out your items then, which... I love organising.
