Chris Chan, aka Mrs. Christine W. Chandler Sonichu, hasn't been on social media too often. After creating and sharing their now-infamous Sonichu and Rosechu comics, Chan sort of disappeared from social media. So when Chan was in the news again, the internet was curious. And many regretted what they read and heard.

Over the years, Chan has been known for their questionable and concerning antics. The weird web comics became the least disturbing thing Chan was known for, as the seemingly mentally ill individual continued to share their odd behavior online. This included burning down their own house, pepper-spraying a GameStop employee, and drinking their own semen.

But the latest news has shocked even the most hardcore internet users.

What did Chris Chan do?

On July 30, a disturbing audio recording and text conversation leaked that showed Chan claiming to have sex with their own mother, who has dementia.

The graphic and upsetting text messages go into great detail about Chan's decision to molest their mother as a form of "bonding." In the texts, Chan even states that their mother asked them to stop touching them. But Chan reassured her friend that her mother, Barb, was getting used to it.

Barb has been featured in Chan's past videos. One time she showed off her blanket collection. Chan wrote a long Facebook post (their most active social media account) in May, wishing her mother a happy Mother's Day.

It read: "Hi, Mom. Remember, everyone, regardless of the situation, your Mom, Mother, or Motherly Figure had a life and past of her own back in the day before you came along. She has gone through a lot for not only you and yours but herself as well. And Barbara Anne Weston Chandler still looks good for her wise age.”

The friend who received the series of texts from Chan was clearly concerned, hence publicly exposing the situation. But it's currently unclear what will happen from here. Chan hasn't made any public statements regarding the rape.
