Chris D'Elia's Net Worth (Updated September 2022) | Wealthy Gorilla

Introduction

Chris D’Elia is an American professional stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and podcast host with an estimated net worth of $10 Million.

Real Estate

D’Elia has closed deals on several pieces of real estate over the past decade, all valued at over $1 million.

Beachwood Canyon Home

In 2016, D’Elia sold his Spanish-style home in Beachwood Canyon, Hollywood, for $1.9 million. The house was built in 1930 and was previously owned by the TV host Craig Ferguson for approximately 10 years, when D’Elia bought it in 2013 for a reported $1.7 million. At almost 2,600 square feet, the property featured a large kitchen, a media/family room, an office, three bedrooms, four bathrooms, an outdoor swimming pool and spa, various patios, seating areas, and landscaped gardens.

Laurel Canyon Home

Following the sale of his Beachwood Canyon property, D’Elia paid $2.625 million for a house in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles. Just two years later, in 2018, he put the property up for sale for $2.785 million, making only a small profit. The two-story, Cape Cod-style house, built in 2012, has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms across approximately 3,825 square feet. Outside, there is a small courtyard with a swimming pool. Inside, the second-floor living and dining room features hardwood floors and an open fireplace, while the kitchen opens onto a smaller lounge with doors leading to a terrace.

Beverly Hills Home

After selling that property, D’Elia purchased a larger home in 2018 in Beverly Hills for $5.4 million. The five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home, once owned by Alex Van Halen, is situated in an exclusive gated community called The Summit. Initially built in 1984, the 5,400-square-foot home offers panoramic views of the entire valley and features its own swimming pool, a built-in sports bar, a barbecue area, and a bocce court. However, in 2022, D’Elia sold the house in a private, off-market transaction for $5.8 million, following allegations made against him.

Additional Properties

It has also been reported that D’Elia owned some smaller houses in Los Angeles, which he purchased before 2020. Although there are few details on when these properties were acquired, one was listed for sale in 2024.

The four-bedroom, 3,825 square-foot home in the Hollywood Hills went on the market for $3.75 million. The traditional-style property features a podcast studio complete with professional lighting, a living room with a fireplace, and French doors that open onto a private courtyard with a solar-heated pool, spa, and fire pit. The kitchen opens onto a more formal dining area, while the main bedroom has its own fireplace, access to the patio, and an ensuite with a large walk-in shower.

As of now, the house reportedly remains unsold, and the price has since been reduced to $3.55 million. D’Elia’s million-dollar real estate investments may have significantly boosted his net worth despite the shifts in his career and personal life.
