Synopsis of Code Geass

The British Empire declares impending war on Japan on August 10, 2010, and since Japan cannot do anything to fight against the latest weapon of the British Empire, the ‘Knightmare frame’, the nation is invaded. There is a switch of the name of the country Japan to ‘Area11’ while the Japanese citizens subsequently adopt the name ‘11s’. The British Lelouch who resides in Japan makes an oath to destroy Britain.

Several years later pass by and Lelouch becomes a high school student; he gets shot alongside his good friend Suzaku by the British army. Lelouch starts to experience a special power known as ‘Geass’ just before he dies. With this special power, Lelouch decides to use the power for the destruction of the British Empire.
