Halloween is just a few weeks away and that means we will see the release of several scary TV shows and movies, with one of those being the TV series Chucky.

The Chucky doll is well known in the horror genre, and particularly around the Halloween period, so the return of the killer doll - which made its first appearance back in 1988 in the film Child's Play - should come as no surprise.

Chucky release date

October 12, 2021 will see the Chucky series premiere on SyFy and USA Network at 22:00 ET.

The number of episodes in the series have not yet been disclosed, but it will likely see us through until at least Halloween.

Where to watch Chucky

You are able to watch Chucky on SyFy and USA Network if you have cable, but if not, Hulu, Fubo TV, YouTube TV and more will also be streaming the show. In order to watch via streaming, you will need to sign up for a subscription with one of these outlets.

Chucky trailer

The trailer for Chucky was released earlier this year and immediately got people in the mood to watch the show, and the creator of the original Chucky film Child's Play almost immediately threw his support behind the show.

Chucky cast

Chucky will be voiced by Brad Dourif, who played the character in the Child's Play franchise. Chucky is also known as serial killer Charles Lee Ray, whose spirit is trapped in a doll. The latest victim for Chucky is portrayed by Zackary Arthur, a young artist who finds the Chucky doll at a yard sale.

Arthur is a fresh face to the franchise, but we can expect to see many familiar names and faces, who are both friends and enemies that Chucky has met in past films. This includes Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce and Jennifer Tilly as Chucky's bride, Tiffany Valentine.
