Undergraduate

Class standing is determined at the beginning of each fall term based on the number of academic units earned which fulfill requirements in the student’s degree program as follows:

Units earned Class standing
0–31 units Freshman standing
32–63 units Sophomore standing
64–95 units Junior standing
96+ units Senior standing

Please note that grades of W, I, MG, P, and AU are not included in computing class standing. Transfer units are counted in determining class standing.
