Clay

Block ID: 337

Clay is mined from a bluish block (Clay Block that typically forms beneath water. It can be mined (preferably using a Shovel), but won't be collected in its block form. Instead, it will break down into individual pieces of clay. Any tool can be used to break clay, even the player's bare hands. Clay can be Smelted in a Furnace to create Clay Bricks which can further be crafted into Brick blocks.

How to find Clay: Look for Clay Blocks near or in water. An easy way to track down clay is to ride a [[boat] and look for the differently colored blocks under the surface of the water by switching to the third-person perspective.
