Clear Chat Command

So, I am making an adventure map right now, and for teleportations, I need to find the coords of where to teleport. Since I did so many commands before, my chat is blocking the debug screen. So then, I have to disconnect and reconnect, then having my chat fill up in 5 minutes. Command Usage: /clearchat Clears your chat /clearchat [player] Clears specified player's chat (@a, @p, @e, etc can be used) /clearchat [player] [lines] The lines argument is for clearing up a specified amount of lines Last edited by aqizingtest: Apr 5, 2014 Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

I support, but wouldn't it be better if you could maybe just click "tab" for instance and then your coordinates are copied. The next time you click CTRL + V, your coordinates are pasted. Partial Support! Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

Quick notice: in 1.8, you can press <F3 + D> to clear your own chat. This does not allow you to target other players' chats, though. Might be a decent way to keep /tellraw content on the screen at all times without spamming their view. Abuse may be an issue with servers, but then again, so could the /kill command. Yeah, like Skylinerw said, it is already planned for 1.8 and in the latest snapshots, the player directed one is easily abused, and the lines argument is unnecessary, in the sense that it just complicates things. No support! Rollback Post to Revision RollBack
