Overview

Among the armor that Link can find is the Climbing Armor Set. Each piece of Climbing armor increases Link's climbing speed. The Climbing Armor Set also has a Set Bonus if Link wears all three, which reduces the Stamina required to jump while climbing.

Climber's Bandanna

The Climber's Bandanna can be found in the Ree Dahee Shrine, which is between the two Dueling Peaks. Read the Ree Dahee Shrine page for directions to the shrine and instructions on solving the puzzles to obtain the Climber's Bandanna.

Climbing Boots

The Climbing Boots can be found in Tahno O'ah Shrine, which is on the mountain north of Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. Read the Tahno O'ah Shrine page for directions to the shrine. You can also talk to Clavia in Hateno Village to start the Shrine Quest that will help you find Tahno O'ah Shrine. She is behind the Dye Shop during the day.

Climbing Gear

The Climbing Gear is in Chaas Qeta Shrine, which you can reach by floating down from Cape Cales, in the Faron Region. Read the Chaas Qeta Shrine page for directions to the shrine. You need to defeat a Guardian in a Major Test of Strength to get the Climbing Gear.

Alternatively, you can complete the From the Ground Up side quest. To start the quest, you must first complete the Hylian Homeowner quest, which you can start by talking to the construction workers in Hateno Village. They can be found at a house across a bridge near the Myahm Agana Shrine. After you complete the Hylian Homeowner quest, talk to Hudson outside of the house to start the From the Ground Up quest. After you complete the From the Ground Up quest, there will be a merchant on a balcony of a house who sometimes sells the Climbing Gear.
