TIPS & ADVICE:

Clippers that are used for seasonal work are often set aside in the off-season. Out of sight, out of mind – and this is when they can start to rust. When that happens, by the time they get to our workshop they can be in pretty rough condition. The result is that it takes a lot longer to make them good, and we frequently have to remove more material than we’d like. So what we recommend you do with any clippers that aren’t in constant use is give them a quick clean, then put them in a jar with enough of a 50/50 mix of kerosene and our lubricating oil to cover them completely.
