I'm in the casual servers and I notice people will say something like "Clutch or kick" and then after a bit they'll votekick some person. They'll also keep talking about how "x player is the clutch" and I have no idea what any of this means. Can anyone experienced clarify? I don't hear people say Clutch or Kick in the competitive servers, so I'm assuming it's a casual server in-joke? < > Showing 1-15 of 43 comments Felicity View Profile View Posts 1 Jun, 2014 @ 11:27am To clutch means to win in a situation where you're alone against more than one person. IE, 1v2,3,4, or 5. Clutch or kick is a joke that if the single person doesn't win, he gets kicked. People will say it in comp sometimes, but no one expects you to clutch, since saving is generally a better idea. It happens in casual because saving is pointless. And they'll kick you if you fail to win the round.Doesn't happen as often in comp MM, since you'd screw yourself over by kicking teammates, as noone will be able to join after that, making you play at a disadvantage. In causal however this isn't a problem, since people can and will join afterwards. #2 tyrone gun View Profile View Posts 8 Nov, 2014 @ 11:29pm No. #3 iza View Profile View Posts 9 Nov, 2014 @ 12:23am #justSILVERthings #4 NinjaZ View Profile View Posts 1 May, 2015 @ 11:14am

Yes, There are alot of different ways to get comp-band/cooldown, Altho Getting kickt should not result in a cd longer than 30 minutes, cuz any more than that for just being kickt is just silly (Sure if one is a toxic player then they deserve longer cooldowns, But for someone who isint "good enough" .. Yeah.. that needs to get decreased.. #8 Titiontot View Profile View Posts 19 May, 2015 @ 4:30pm

Who even kicks in competitive. A bad player is much better than no player. If you're getting kicked in comp it should be because you're afk. #9 equu View Profile View Posts 28 Jun, 2015 @ 6:48am

It's a joke? Yesterday I was 1 vs 3, i managed to kill 2 and died. And then I was kicked... . #10 Virsenas View Profile View Posts 28 Jun, 2015 @ 6:51am Sometimes you don't even need the "Clutch or Kick" thing. Nice necro #13 Drokkstar View Profile View Posts 6 Jul, 2015 @ 12:14pm Sometimes people votekick you so they can constantly rush in and will have the bot that replaces you to fall back on when they get mowed down in a hail of bullets. Usually they're the squeaky, annoying ones that think they know what they're doing. Last edited by Drokkstar; 6 Jul, 2015 @ 12:15pm #14 HoneyDrake View Profile View Posts 6 Jul, 2015 @ 12:15pm

its because elo works different, less real players = more elo gain if you win a round, and you lose less with less real players! (not sure if it applies too, if that member got kicked) #15 < > Showing 1-15 of 43 comments Per page: 1530 50 Counter-Strike 2 > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 1 Jun, 2014 @ 11:24amPosts: 43 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
