Following a family of modern-day cowboys, fans have been enthralled by the story as they try to protect their land from outsiders. Yellowstone has brought a new level of fame to the cast with viewers eager to know more.

How tall is Yellowstone star Cole Hauser?

American actor Cole Hauser portrays the strong and silent Rip Wheeler, who works for the Dutton family which owns the Yellowstone ranch.

Rip was taken in during his teen years when he was running wild and on a self-detructive path.

According to Celebrity Heights, Hauser is 6ft ½ in or 1.8m, while Height DB puts him at 6 ft 1 in or 1.85m.

Along with his role in Yellowstone, Hauser has also featured in the movies 2 Fast 2 Furious, Dazed and Confused and Good Will Hunting.

He’s also starred in TV series Rogue, The Lizzie Borden Chronicles and High Incident.

The actor is married to former actress-turned-photographer Cynthia Daniel with the couple walking down the aisle in 2006.

They have three children together, sons Ryland and Colt and one daughter Steely Rose.

Although Hauser has been acting since the early Nineties, Yellowstone may be one of his most high-profile roles to date.

Prior to taking on the part of Rip, Hauser spoke to Yellowstone’s creator Taylor Sheridan about the story arc of his onscreen alter-ego.

The star told Decider in a recent interview about the discussions with Sheridan and the nuance around Rip's character.

Hauser explained: "He told me the thing that I was looking for, which is that I want to see colors in a character.

"I don’t want to just play the cowboy that rides the fence line.

"I want to have at least that kind of wave of colors, and Taylor was like, 'If you trust me, you give me this opportunity and we’ll find that.'"

Like many of the cast members, he also undertook a rigorous cowboy bootcamp which put him through his paces with the various things his character would have to deal with - primarily horse riding.

Another of the appeals of Rip is his romance with Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Reilly) with the pair being in love since they were teens.

Season three seemed to suggest the pair had finally found some semblance of happiness after Beth proposed to Rip and they were planning to wed.

All of this seemed to go up in flames when Beth's life was put in danger by a bomb, which was sent to her office.

The explosive went off right in front of her, taking out a lot of the building and leaving her fate unknown.

Fans will have to wait until season four to find out if she came out alive but at the moment it's looking highly unlikely with many wondering if Reilly will leave the series. 

To make matters worse, John (Kevin Coster) and Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) were also left fighting for their lives.
