Points that lie on the same line are said to be collinear.
Example 1
Prove that the points A(-5, -3) , B(-1, 0) and C(7, 6) are collinear.
As the gradients of lines AB and BC are the same and B is common to both AB and BC then points A, B and C are collinear.
