I can't tell from the pics, but if it is all original then it would be worth around $2,000. Handle it with care. Because it is in very good condition and every mark/scratch it receives the value goes down. #3 · Nov 14, 2020 I am by no means an expert on the 1911, but I am seeing some inconsistencies that lead me to believe this a parts gun or a rebuild. It looks to have been refinished at one time. Remington and Rand manufactured approximately 900, 000 model 1911A1's (a different model than your 1911) from 1942-1945. (See link below for history of the company) Remington Rand Story The frame is serial No 34604, marked 1911 and has a Rock Island Arsenal stamp on the frame. This slide is a Type 2 which was reportedly used on serial numbers 927000-1015000. The frame and slide are not from the same manufacture. I can't help establish a value for the gun, but considering the frame and slide are made by different manufacturers, it would guess the value is as a shooter grade. #4 · Nov 15, 2020 Thank you for the correction. #5 · Nov 15, 2020 Your gun is not original, it aperies refinished in a FDE (Flat Dark Earth) - $ Stamped US property + $ = $1,000 #6 · Nov 15, 2020 The "M1911 US Army" has been hand-stamped with individual stamps.
