Why? Why does Otis from Back at the Barnyard have an udder? Why are they fully developed? Why are they full functional? Is Otis a lesbian with a rather deep voice? Is Otis a pre-operation trans-male? Is Otis a hermaphrodite? Is Otis a mother? Who is the father? Who is the foal? Does Otis simply impregnate themselves like a whiptail lizard? Does Otis even need to get pregnant and give birth to lactate? Do males of other related species like gazelle and wildebeest also have functional udders? Kaziklu Bey

The meta reason:
Despite being biologically male, Otis has an udder like the other male cows. In reality, only female cows have udders, not bulls (an actual bull appeared in the film and was treated as if it were a separate species). The reason all the male cows were designed like this in the franchise is because Steve Oedekerk figured that city folk thought that all cows would look like this. Click to expand... Reminds me of the joke about the city boy who tried to help out at the farm by milking the cows, but couldn't tell the difference between a cow and a bull. "Milking is a lot harder than I thought. It took me all day to get enough to fill the bucket!" You must log in or register to reply here. Share: Share
