boatingfool B I am getting ready to order a set of Continental DWS for my 02 SVT. Are these tires directional? I can't tell from the Tire Rack images or info. Thanks, OJ #1 · Mar 23, 2013 I am getting ready to order a set of Continental DWS for my 02 SVT. Are these tires directional? I can't tell from the Tire Rack images or info. Thanks, OJ Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions #2 · Mar 23, 2013 They are asymetrical, but NOT directional. I had some, and liked them a lot. They seem to wear faster than some others, but they handle very well, especially in the rain. #3 · Mar 23, 2013 after some googling they are asymmetric and non directional like stated by mainest. i have some and they were pretty good tires throughout the winter. i just switched back to my dw a week ago much better lol, but for colder weather and snow you cant go wrong with dws #4 · Mar 23, 2013 i have DWS for my SVT, they are pretty good tires. first set of tires i had to buy. i previously was on fuzions, the DWS has been much better i think. i'm pleased with them #5 · Mar 24, 2013 i have DWS's on my wife's Mazda (on since 09/2011) and have a new set on my 2012 SEL. I love these tires. they do NOT wear fast with rotations every 5,000 miles. they are comfortable and have really good traction. #6 · Mar 24, 2013 I also have a set of the DWS on my SVT and have been very pleased with them. They are some of the best all-season tires I've ever used in snow and rain. #7 · Mar 24, 2013 Got a set last July and have put 6300 miles on them since. Decent dry grip with predictable breakaway and while very good in the rain they are just so-so in the snow. Image #8 · Apr 9, 2013 Very happy with these tires on my wife's Mazda 5. They are definitely not directional. #9 · Apr 9, 2013 I have dw only tires, they are awesome, my coworker got dws on his 05 tl he loves them too. I highly reccomend them #10 · Apr 9, 2013 whats the difference between them? I've had pirellis on my old falcon and i loved them last long and get good traction :D #11 · Apr 9, 2013 dw=summer/rain rated, dws=all seasons(dry/wet/snow). #12 · Apr 9, 2013 Image Image 2 fresh ones i just got today #13 · Apr 10, 2013 i see..wel for australia snow doesnt really affect it.. #14 · Apr 10, 2013 DWS's =1 a/s tire. I had the conti extremes before these & in Seattle area they work great. I'd rather be on DW's, but if you need a a/s tire, can't beat a DWS. Insert Quotes Post Reply
