Corn Corn Futures are available for Trading in The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT® ) which was established in 1848 and is a leading futures and futures-options exchange. More than 3,600 CBOT member/stockholders trade 50 different futures and options products at the CBOT by open auction and electronically. The biggest corn exporters are the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Ukraine, and France. In 2020 five of them generated more than 75% of overall sales.
News Stream Corn Hits 27-week High Corn increased to 450.00 USd/BU, the highest since June 2025. Over the past 4 weeks, Corn lost 2.64%, and in the last 12 months, it decreased 4.45%. 2025-12-11 Corn Tests Junes Highs Corn futures climbed toward $4.40 per bushel, testing June highs last seen on November 13 as markets parsed through softer-than-expected stockpiles and strong demand signals. The USDA’s latest WASDE cut US ending stocks to 51.54 million tonnes from 54.71 million, a steeper reduction than markets expected after a sizable upward revision to export estimates now pegged at about 81.28 million tonnes. Strong export demand has been the clear driver, with outstanding US sales and inspections pointing to faster shipments to Mexico, Colombia and other buyers, while US ethanol output has risen to record weekly levels and is absorbing incremental corn available for other uses. Prompt physical supplies have also tightened outside the US, with Ukrainian shipments running below a year ago because of harvest and logistical delays. 2025-12-09 Corn Rises Toward June Highs Corn futures climbed toward $4.40 per bushel, testing June highs last seen on November 13 amid fresh demand and tightening near-term supply. On the demand side US exporters reported large new sales to Colombia and Mexico and overall commitments remain well above last season, US ethanol production climbed to record weekly rates at the end of November increasing feedstock use, and buyers in Brazil stepped up purchases to rebuild inventories ahead of year end. On the supply side near-term availability was trimmed by logistical bottlenecks and slower shipments from Ukraine in November and by Brazilian sellers who are withholding lots as they focus on planting and crop development, while record US and global 2025/26 harvests limit how far prices can run. Looking through the year the market now forecasts a meaningful tightening in 2026/27 as US corn area is expected to fall and yields normalize, a shift that turns expectations from abundant stocks to inventories declining next season. 2025-12-08

Corn futures rose above $4.30 per bushel, rebounding from one-month lows as supplies available for immediate shipment have diminished and buyers are paying up for prompt delivery. Ukrainian shipments remain well below last season’s pace, removing cargoes that would normally ease global tightness, and US export demand has moved into that gap. In Brazil, domestic demand for ethanol and industrial crush has strengthened while farmer selling has been subdued, and an export programme running into year-end has pushed up local bids and port premiums. Weather risks from a possible La Niña and reports of constrained rail and port logistics raise the chance that new-crop supplies will not quickly relieve the prompt squeeze.
