He is a man to make very spooky world and movies. The Corpse Bride is back in Victorian times, is about a young man named Victor, who is to marry the recently rich-to-poor woman of the town, Victoria. This arrangement is forced by their parents cause Victor's parents want to be rich and go to all the rich events, while Victoria's parents are hoping the union will bring their family money again. The duo met, and immediately fall for each other, without a word. It's the day of the wedding rehearsal and Victor is extremely nervous about his vow, that he messes it up during the practice. The parents aren't happy about that, Victor is very embarrassed as he could barely manage to say his vow. So he wonders off to practice it in a near by forest. He eventually gets it right, as he places the ring on to what he believed to be a twig sticking out of the ground. Yet his guessing was soon corrected as magic burst through the air and a corpse of a bride comes back to life. This bride is named Emily. And the adventure gets crazy as he is taken to the land of the dead by her and her back story is revealed in a catchy song. It gets crazier cause a corpse loves a human, which isn't supposed to happen, Victor wants to go home, there's relationship building from Victor and Emily, as Victoria gets into some danger herself by a crazy, greedy lord that wants money. Very good movie! I'd recommend it!In the song it isn't clear how Emily was killed but I have a theory about it that might be true.Well, our girl is a beauty known for miles aroundWhen a mysterious stranger came into townHe's plenty good-looking, but down on his cashAnd our poor little baby, she fell hard and fastWhen her daddy said no, she just couldn't copeSo our lovers came up with a plan to elopeSo they conjured up a plan to meet late at nightThey told not a soul, kept the whole thing tightNow, her mother's wedding dress fit like a gloveYou don't need much when you're really in loveExcept for a few things, or some toldLike the family jewels and a satchel of goldThen next to the graveyard by the old oak treeOn a dark foggy night at a quarter to threeShe was ready to go, but where was he?And then? She waitedAnd then? There in the shadows, was it her man?And then? Her little heart beat so loudAnd then? And then baby, everything went blackNow when she opened her eyes she was dead as dustHer jewels were missing and her heart was bustThose are the important lyrics from the song. That a mysterious, handsome lord had met Emily when she was alive and well, she fell for him hard. She tried to ask permission to be with him, yet her parents said no. So they probably spoken about it, agreeing to elope. So she took her mom's wedding dress and some valuables that she could carry with her and went to wait by the old oak tree near the graveyard at night. He didn't show for a while, but when she spotted him she was happy, excited. Yet he was too fast for her, and probably smothered her with a handkerchief. Cause there's no marks of harm on her corpse and her dead skin is blue. So I'm guessing he cut off her oxygen by a handkerchief, covering her nose and mouth, as he kept her from struggling. She dies from no oxygen, so there's no suspicious marks on her body. He had taken the jewels and money she took from home. That's what I think how he killed her so if she was found there be no suspicion of murder. But luckily for the jerk, he wasn't ever caught as their plan to run away was a secret, so of course Emily snuck out and wasn't seen as she went to where they promise to met. And the present day of the movie, takes place long after Emily's passing. I don't know how long, maybe someone can guess by the rate of decay Emily displays when she gets reanimated. So with it most likely being years from the present day, I wouldn't be surprised if the graveyard drifted off, stretching in another direction away from Emily's resting place, for her to be seemingly deep in some woods by the time Victor accidentally finds her.I hope this was interesting to read, or liked. The movie is great! If you haven't seen it, I'm sorry for so many spoilers but it's impossible. That's all I got, it's great. Check it out if you haven't.
