Couple Start Off Slow Leaving Crowd On The Edge Of Their Seats When ...

Though Jason Colacino, unfortunately, passed away in 2009 at age 31 his incredible talent and art is still living on through country music and swing fans across the internet.

More than a million have watched Colacino and his dance partner Katie Boyle’s competitive performances on YouTube. And people are still watching!

“I just recently discovered Jason Colacino and Katie Boyle! I have been watching their videos over and over. Then I read that he had been taken from this world way too soon. Sending love and prayers to the Colacino Famly and Katie Boyle. I know it has been 11 years but it is always a comfort when you know people are praying and sending love your way,” fan Avis Wainright wrote on Colacino’s legacy page in October 2020.

Colacino started his career in country line dance when he was just a teenager and went on to become a professional dance performer and instructor, as well as an actor.

In addition to country line dance, Colacino mastered Swing, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Jazz, Ballet, and Ballroom styles of dance.

Early on in his career, Colacino was known for his incredible West Coast Swing performances with Gina Amato-Brown and Boyle.

Colacino won a US Open Swing title and three World Cabaret titles. He later made a name for himself with his Argentine Tango performances.

His expertise lead him to teach, choreograph, compete, perform, and judge all over the world.

He was beloved by his students

“Jason was my coach and we did pro-am together,” Susan Perla wrote.

“It was a wonderful time of personal growth and it was under his guidance I became a better dancer. Thank you Jason, I hope you are dancing in heaven. You are so missed.. It was such an honor to work with your wonderful talent and you were a gentle man. I wish you was still here and miss your smile very much.”

Colacino is listed in the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame as a Permanent Stellar Star 2018.

Boyle, Colacino’s longtime partner, started dancing when she was just 2 and is a wonderful ballroom dancer-choreographer.

Some say the two were “a perfect match.”

“He was the most talented dancer I have ever seen and Katie Boyle was his equal they were a perfect match. Their dances flowed together like no others I have ever seen,” Wain right said.

And that’s immediately evident when you see these two on the dance floor.

The way these two move together is just so incredibly fluid.

They are perfectly synchronized and hit every beat with a sexy dance move.

These two are just smooth as hell on the dance floor.

Their chemistry is just palpable.

That’s because they were very close. According to Facebook, Katie said that Jason was her very best friend.

Though they are something really special together, individual dance moves are equally impressive.

Colacino does a split in the middle of the dance floor and you can hear the crowd audibly gasp over the music.

Not only did the video of their sexy country swing routine go viral but people were commenting on it like crazy.

Many have said that they searched the internet just to make sure they’ve watched all of Colacino and Boyle’s recorded performances

“This is so perfect, I have watched every video on these dancers and they are just amazing. Beautifully done,” wrote one YouTube fan.

“Alright, that’s just stupid good! I cannot believe my eyes. There is no one that can follow the beat like these two. Original yet not flashy. Love, love, love it,” said another.
