WesTex Urgent Care

Serving Midland and Odessa for coronavirus testing, you can schedule a virtual appointmentfirst in order to discuss symptoms. Then if needed, you will schedule an appointment time to drive up in your vehicle and the test will be conducted there. You’ll remain in your vehicle for COVID-19 testing.

CVS (Drive-Thru)

This is an easy and free option available to those with or without insurance. You’ll answer a few questions in an online questionnaire, select an appointment time, and fill out a registration form. You must have proof of identity and an insurance card (if you have a policy) with you when you drive up. If you do not have health insurance, CVS will need your Social Security number (card not needed), driver's license, or state ID to submit the cost of your test to the federal program for the uninsured. Vital Care Urgent Care COVID-19 Mobile Testing Site

If you’re in need of a rapid COVID-19 test, you can visit the Vital Care Urgent Care Mobile testing site. It’s an entity of Vital Care Urgent Care that serves Midland and Odessa. You do not need an appointment and there is no provider visit; this is strictly for testing. No insurance and they accept cash and credit card only. Cost is $150 and you will receive your results in 15 minutes.

This option is available by appointment after calling 68Nurse to be assessed or by performing the assessment on the Basin MD app. Drive-through testing sites are located at the West Campus location of the hospital. You must have completed the assessment and made an appointment before driving up.

Our Family Urgent Care

Another medical center you can receive a rapid COVID-19 test is Our Family Urgent Care. No insurance is necessary and out of pocket cost is currently $130. On Saturdays they are only open for rapid testing and insurance is not accepted. If you are covered, you will need to go in during the week.
