Crafting Metals are one of three currencies in Apex Legends. This currency is used to unlock many of the standard cosmetics found in the Legends tab. Crafting cosmetics costs anywhere from 30 Crafting Metals to as high as 2,400 Crafting Metals.

This currency is special in that it can only be earned through Apex Packs. If you get Crafting Metals in an Apex Pack, it'll look like this:

The number of Crafting Metals you get per Apex Pack depends on the rarity level of the drop:

• Common Crafting Metal = 15
• Rare Crafting Metal = 30
• Epic Crafting Metal = 200
• Legendary Crafting Metal = 600

If you've managed to unlock all cosmetics in a rarity tier, you'll start earning Crafting Metals at that rarity tier level in place of a cosmetic you would have earned otherwise. For instance, if you've earned all epic items, if you'll start earning epic Crafting Metals instead of duplicate cosmetics. Apex Packs do not drop duplicate cosmetics.
