The Farm

We are a small-scale family farm in Nittany Valley, Centre County, PA marketing directly to our customers through a CSA, our online store and a monthly on farm market. Our diverse operation grows all manner of vegetables on four acres as well as small fruits, eggs, chicken and baked goods. We grow with freshness, flavor and sustainability in mind. Our animals are raised humanely always. Customers have the option of home delivery or pick up at the farm.

Find out what we are up to all year long by following us on Instagram and Facebook.

Come see for yourself. During the growing season, on the first Saturday of each month we open the farm to visitors and offer an on farm market. Inspect the fields and high tunnels and see how things are done around here. We want you to make this YOUR farm.

CSA

Community Supported Agriculture

CSA is a way for consumers to buy local foods from a farm by entering into a contract with the farmer. Members pay for their share in advance. By investing in the farm at the start of the growing season, members provide cash flow to the farm when it is most needed to buy seeds, fertilizer, supplies, etc. The members benefit by receiving local, fresh, healthy food delivered once a week. Because farming is unpredictable, CSA members share in the bounty as well as the potential for a crop failure.

Why our CSA?

For 2026 our CSA will run from early May through end of August. Each weekly share includes 8-12 freshly harvested items. Though we don’t offer fully customized shares, we will pack your bag with consideration to food allergies or family preferences. One of the things that is unique about our program is that we deliver directly to your home. Currently we make deliveries on Thursday evening to Bellefonte and early Friday morning to State College. The cost of a share for 2026 is $498 which includes the delivery or $444 if you pick-up at the farm. If you choose to pick up your share at the farm, hours are Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to noon.

Orders placed through the online store are consolidated with the CSA delivery schedule. This means CSA members have the opportunity to add items from the store (fresh chicken, eggs, baked goods or extra veggies), to be included with their weekly share.

What to Expect

The past several years we’ve been skipping the CSA share for the first week of each month and offering an on farm market instead. Some families appreciate this as a chance to use up produce from previous shares, while others use it as an opportunity to visit the farm.

The list of items to be included in the share is emailed early each week. If there is something on the list you won’t use or your family doesn’t like, you can ‘opt-out’ from receiving it in your delivery. We will try to make a substitution.

We will issue credit to the online store or on the farm market for up to two weekly shares you would miss for vacation. Just give us notice before hand and receive $37 credit for each week.

Your share will be packed in a reusable bag. Every week we pick up the bag from the week before and replace it with a full one.
