Yes, you start it by repairing the radio comms in the life pod. If you never repair it, you basically never really start the story (I think). #7 TalyonUngol View Profile View Posts 25 Jan, 2018 @ 6:14pm

Listening to the Messages on the Radio in your life pod gets you started moving in the direction of the main storyline. Specifically the Messages from the Sunbeam. #9 Hillbilly_Dave View Profile View Posts 25 Jan, 2018 @ 7:27pm The good thing about this game is you don't "have" to do the story. You're infected, yes, but if you ignore the story then nothing will come of the infection. Its progression is directly tied to your story progression. If you don't do the story, nothing happens with the infection other than you get told you have an infection. Even if you push to the final stages of infection then stop doing main story stuff, nothing will happen to you. You'll have the visible bits (which if you're wearing suit gloves you can't even see) but nothing bad will happen to you. #10 Jackthedragonkiller [Chirch] View Profile View Posts 25 Jan, 2018 @ 7:41pm Go deeper. #11 Hillbilly_Dave View Profile View Posts 25 Jan, 2018 @ 8:10pm

perspective is everything. #13 Rango View Profile View Posts 31 Mar, 2021 @ 6:21am A tad too late, but for anyone who really wants the answer: as soon as you are able, add sonar to the seamoth (and/or the Cyclops if you manage to build one). Then, use it in combination with the clues given to you via radio and PDA entries. The story will eventually unfold on its own. Just remember to be ready for anything you may find. #14 < > Showing 1-14 of 14 comments Per page: 1530 50 Subnautica > General Gameplay Discussion > Topic Details Date Posted: 25 Jan, 2018 @ 5:33pmPosts: 14 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
