locked3000 Greetings! I currently have 3 QL120 fans as intake on my radiator, placed front in my case, 360mm Corsair radiator, water temp is around 40-42c with ambient temp 31c, will I see a good difference if I switch to static pressure fans like EKWB Vardar Evo 2200rpm ? I can use the 3 QL120 as exhaust to do a Push Pull configuration too, any input would be appreciated, thanks! #1 · Feb 4, 2022 Greetings! High static pressure fans, most of them, depend on high RPM’s. However, the faster the fans spins, the more noise it generates. Look for fans with 3 or higher on pressure, mmH2O. I used to have corsair SP120 fans and they did the job but really got tired of the noise (14 fans). Now, I bought ASUS XL120 fans which is higher static pressure at 1/2 the noise, very happy with them. Checkout the features and find fans with >3 static pressure with magnetic levitations. #3 · Feb 5, 2022 I have lot of noise around me so noise levels is not really an issue in my case, I just ordered 3x Phanteks T30 fans, thanks for your response! :) 0 Reply #4 · Feb 5, 2022 Do you only have 1 360mm Rad? Do you have a CPU and GPU block in your loop? Your fans are rated at 1.55mmH2O, which isn't terrible. I hope you aren't seeing 40-42c coolant temps at idle with a 31c ambient. I doubt you would see much improvement, even with fans over 2.0mmH20. You will benefit more from increasing radiator surface area, not changing your fans. #5 · Feb 5, 2022 1 360 corsair radiator for a corsair waterblock gpu, I have a Ryujin II for my CPU. 40-42c coolants temps is on idle with a 31c, it gets colder during night but yeah I'll try everything to get the coolant temp a bit colder during the day.
