CVS on Tuesday said it had “ample supply” of Plan B and Aftera — two types on emergency contraception — and has removed purchase limits while Amazon and Rite Aid are limiting purchases.

“Immediately following the Supreme Court decision, we saw a sharp increase in the sale of emergency contraceptives and implemented a temporary purchase limit to ensure equitable access,” Matt Blanchette, Senior Manager of Retail Communications with CVS Pharmacy, told CNN in an email.

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, demand for the pills increased, however CVS has said sales have now stabilized.

While CVS removed limits, Amazon, Rite Aid and other major drug stores have limited their purchases.

Representatives with Amazon and Rite Aid told CNN that it has a temporary quantity limit of three (3) units per week on emergency contraceptive pills.

Walgreens has said it is still able to meet demand for in-store purchase while Target and Kroger said they didn’t have anything to share on potential limits.
