The name Dante is a shortened version of Durante which means ‘enduring’, and the word ‘enduring’ means “long-lasting suffering” or “the long-suffering one”.

Dante’s an unusual name, I chose it for the book: Dante’s inferno, game: devil may cry references, and second name is Atreyu from Neverending Story, and the band name.

Dant? means steadfast and enduring and Luca means Light which is his middle name. Dant? Luca means steadfast enduring light and I like it because he is the light of my life and it’s a solid strong name with ethnic roots from his dads side!
