LaLiga president Javier Tebas has announced that the first El Clasico of the 2021-2022 season between Barcelona and Real Madrid will be played on October 24th, with kick-off scheduled for 16:15 CET. This first meeting between the two teams will be played at the Camp Nou.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid will play a mid-week Champions League game ahead of El Clasico, with Los Blancos visiting Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday and Barcelona hosting Dinamo Kyiv on Wednesday.

Even if Barcelona seem to be out of the race for the title right now, these Clasicos are always crucial and generate a lot of attention. On the other hand, Madrid have been playing great football lately and have gained a lot of confidence.

Still, these games can change the course of an entire season and fans around the world will be watching closely as Barcelona and Real Madrid write another chapter in their historic rivalry.
