The University of Florida provides two application options, or timelines, for students to choose: Early Action (EA) or Regular Decision (RD). Each of these paths provide different decision notifications, listed below. The University of Florida does not have rolling admissions nor binding decision commitment.

Application Deadlines & Options 2025-26
Early Action Regular Decision
Application Deadline November 1 January 15
Materials Deadline* November 8 January 22
Decision Notification January 23 March 13
Decision Outcomes Admit, Deny or Defer Admit, Waitlist, Pathways or Deny

*Materials Deadline

For the materials deadlines above, you must submit all of the application materials (STARS or high school transcript, and the self-reported or official test scores) by the November 8 Early Action deadline or the January 22 Regular Decision deadline.

STARS (formerly SSAR) Deadline

If you have met the November 1 Early Action application deadline, submit the STARS by the November 8 deadline. If you have met the January 15 Regular Decision application deadline, submit the STARS by the January 22 deadline. Changes and corrections should be made prior to the respective STARS deadline. After this date, your STARS information will be locked for editing and if a change is necessary after this deadline, contact Admissions via our Contact page.

Official Test Score Submission Deadline

SAT, ACT, and/or Classic Learning Test (CLT) scores may be sent directly from the testing agency or self-reported through your application status page. If your official test scores are not received by the May 1 deadline, you will not be eligible for enrollment.

Official Transcript(s) Deadline

Make arrangements to send your final transcript(s) to our office by July 1, as your school may not automatically do this and your enrollment at UF is dependent on this submission. Students can track the receipt of their transcript(s) on their application status page.

Official transcripts may be sent to UF in two ways: paper transcripts received by UF in a sealed envelope or electronic transcripts sent from your school directly to UF, which can save up to two weeks response time. UF accepts electronic transcripts through FASTER, Parchment, National Student Clearing House, ScribbleSoft, e-Scrip Safe, Credential Solutions, SCOIR, or Transcripts Plus.

Send your electronic transcript(s) to:[email protected]

Send your paper transcript(s) to:
