Interestingly enough, Amirah O’Neal, daughter of Shaq, does not like to associate herself with the Lakers legend when she is out in public. Moreover, she has a specific reason for this.

She likes to mess with people whenever someone approaches her as Shaq’s daughter. Talking in an interview, Amirah stressed how people compare her to Shaq and that she denies being his daughter whenever out in public.

Amirah said, “So when anyone asks me if I am Shaquille O’Neal’s daughter, most of the time, I say no, just to mess with them. I love saying no because it just messes with people.” Safe to say, Shaquille O’Neal has passed down his habit of messing around and pranking people to his children.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend has 6 children comprising 3 daughters and 3 sons. He shares 4 kids with his ex-wife, Shaunie O’Neal, namely Me’arah, Amirah, Shareef, and Shaqir O’Neal. Shaq is the stepfather of Myles O’Neal and he shares his firstborn, Taahirah O’Neal, with his former girlfriend, Arnetta Yardbourgh.
