This 2 Channel DC 5V Relay Module can be used to control devices with a higher voltage than what most microcontrollers, like Arduino, can handle. It is used to control high-voltage circuits that an Arduino would otherwise not be able to control directly. Instead, you use a low-voltage control signal from the Arduino to control the relay module, which is capable of handling and switching high-voltage or high-power circuits. This 2 Channel DC 5V relay module can control typical household appliances up to 10A.
