In Justice League #74 by DC Comics, Nabu instructs Naomi that she can manipulate magic, putting her in a class all of her own among her fellow heroes on the superteam. She uses her newfound powers to take down one of the most terrifying threats in the DC Universe.

Naomi McDuffie is the Justice League's newest recruit but has quickly proved she's one of the most powerful heroes in the DC Universe. Naomi, code name Powerhouse, is classified as a mega-power hero, as her parents had their own godlike powers. The young hero is still learning what she's capable of, but readers have seen her use a series of energy abilities teasing an incredible upper-level of pure power. Naomi's only notable weakness is not knowing or being able to control her extraordinary powers fully. Now, Naomi learned the truth about her powers, which makes her the strongest Justice League hero.

In Justice League #74 by Brian Michael Bendis, Szymon Kudranski, Emanuela Lupacchino, Wade Von Grawbadger, Hi-Fi, and Josh Reed, the superteam takes on Xandaoth, the Lord of Chaos who has returned in the body of Black Adam. After splitting Xandaoth and the Justice League hero, Nabu guides Naomi to unleash her full powers against the villain. After being told she can manipulate and magnify magic, she sends out a powerful attack that stops Xandaoth for good.

On top of her other energy powers, the revelation about Naomi's ability to magnify magic puts in a class of her own among the current Justice League roster. Interestingly enough, it makes her super-effective against two of the other strongest heroes in the DC Universe, Doctor Fate and Superman. She can manipulate Doctor Fate's powers to her whim while exploiting Superman's other weakness. Ultimately, that puts her in contention for the most powerful hero in the Justice League - and her powers aren't still even aren't fully realized yet.
