Ingredients

Serves: 2-3 people

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g whiting
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions

To Prep

  1. Clean the whiting and lightly pat dry to remove excess moisture.
  2. Combine the flour and the salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Coat the whiting in the flour; shaking off the excess flour.

To Cook

  1. Fill a saucepan with enough oil to deep-fry the whiting in. Cook the fish in batches for about 5 minutes or until the fish has turned golden and crisp
  2. Remove the whiting from the oil and place on paper towel to drain the excess oil.
  3. When the fish has cooled slightly, serve on a long plate!
