How to delete your account on Stitch

If you would like to delete your account, or else deactivate your Stitch account so that it is no longer seen by any other Stitch members, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to the Account Information page by selecting Profile & Settings > Account Information from the MORE top menu. The page will look like this:

  2. In the Deactivation & Deletion section, select Close your account. ​​

  3. You will then be given a choice of whether you want to deactivate your account, or permanently delete it, as shown in the image below:​

  4. Deactivating your account will remove your profile and connection information from Stitch, and no other members will be able to contact you. All your connections can, however, be restored in the future if you want to do so. This is the option to choose if you want to take a break from Stitch right now but might want to join again at some point in the future.​​Deleting your account will permanently delete everything about you on Stitch. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.​The page you see will look like the image below. Choose the option that you prefer and select Next.

  5. Stitch will ask you to confirm your choice, and if you choose to proceed you will be immediately logged out of Stitch. ​​

  6. If you have chosen to delete your account, you won't be able to log back in. If you have chosen to simply deactivate your account, you can choose to reactivate it at any point in the future by logging back into Stitch and following the prompts.​
