· Four-year starter at Gainesville (Ga.) High School. Set state career records for total offense (17,134) and total touchdowns (218).

· Earned degree in communications from Clemson.

Beyond Football

· Launched Deshaun Watson Foundation in 2019, dedicated to education, health, housing and other charitable causes that support families and youth in underserved communities.

· Through his foundation, hosted around 300 children from across Northeast Ohio for inaugural Christmas Around the World event in 2023. The kids had the opportunity to try new foods and dishes from various counties including Italy, Jamaica, China and Greece all inside a winter wonderland-themed venue, where each kid also received several presents.

· Investor in Lefty's Cheesesteaks in University Heights, Ohio.

· In 2006, at the age of 11, Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn donated a home to Watson's family through Dunn's charity Homes for the Holidays, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

· In 2017, donated his first NFL game check of approximately $27,000 to NRG Stadium cafeteria employees affected by Hurricane Harvey.
