The following is a list of the 2026 designated and statutory holidays for members of the Toronto Public Service.

- New Year’s Day (2026): Thursday, January 1
- Family Day: Monday, February 16
- Good Friday: Friday, April 3
- Easter Monday: Monday, April 6 **
- Victoria Day: Monday, May 18
- Canada Day: Wednesday, July 1
- Simcoe (Civic) Day: Monday, August 3 **
- Labour Day: Monday, September 7
- National Truth and Reconciliation Day: Wednesday, September 30 **
- Thanksgiving Day: Monday, October 12
- Remembrance Day: Wednesday, November 11 **
- Christmas Day: Friday, December 25
- Boxing Day: Monday, December 28 *
- New Year’s Day (2027): Friday, January 1
Please note, some facilities are open and services are provided on statutory holidays. For more information, contact 311.
*When a designated holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday (with the exception of Remembrance Day), the City of Toronto designates an alternative day as the day of observance of the holiday. **More information for union and association employees can be found in the City collective agreements.
