Destiny 2 players can now explore Haunted Sectors for the seasonal Halloween event that Bungie holds every year, called Festival of the Lost. The event became available yesterday after reset, at 10 AM PDT, and players need to complete a few quest steps before being eligible to enter Haunted Sectors.
How to Start the Gone but Not Forgotten Quest
Destiny 2 players can grab this quest in the Tower by speaking with the event vendor, Eva Levante. After a short intro, the NPC will provide players with the titular quest.

How to Complete Step 1 and 2 of the Gone But Not Forgotten Quest
The first step is to speak with Eva Levante and claim a Festival of the Lost Mask, which can be done immediately after grabbing the Gone But Not Forgotten quest. After that, the next step consists of acquiring enough Spectral Pages and Candy to proceed with the quest.
This can be done by completing any activity, and in this case, a single Gambit was enough to get all three Spectral Pages and way more than 100 Candy.
How to Enter Haunted Sectors in Destiny 2
The third step of the quest is to finally enter a Haunted Sector and complete a Summoning Ritual, which means to stand on one of the Summoning Circles long enough to have a Headless One appear.
Still, in order to enter the Haunted Sector, players have to open their map tab and go to Destinations. From there, they should select the Tower. Finally, just above the main area on the map, there will be a new activity called Haunted Sector Playlist.
How to Complete Steps 4 to 7 of the Gone But Not Forgotten Quest
Step 4 consists of defeating at least one of the Headless Ones spawning within a Haunted Sector and complete the activity by defeating the final boss. This is a relatively short activity, and the main purpose is to collect Candy and to turn Spectral Pages into Manifested Pages.
The fifth step asks players to go back to the Tower to speak with Eva Levante, which will trigger a short message from her and the sixth step of the quest. This will have players exit Eva Levante's menu and head to the right to find the Book of the Forgotten.
Players will then need to claim any of the purchasable pages, which will be one for the time being. After that, the seventh and final step of the quest is to simply speak with Eva Levante one last time to claim the rewards - namely, a Jurassic Green pulse rifle with random perks, 50 Candy, and the Hollow Sleep Emblem.
Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
