Jul 29, 2019 41 0 0 Havent played Twilight for several versions. Based on the books gathered. I need to first kill the Lich to progress. So I was exploring Twilight. Finally found one (a bit far off). Feeling cocky with my Modular power suit with full diamond and 1 energy shield. Went up still feeling cocky and not bringing any health potions to throw. I was going to attempt the tennis method. So the battle begins. Man, harder to get a rebound that I thought. I think I checked my health and I was doing ok. Then blam, blam, blam (a few seconds later).. Dead. Ak?! Do thier magic bypass the Powersuit armour? Any recommended protective gear? So while I build up a new power suit and do a trek again. maybe somebody would give a better gear recommendation. And I think I'lll look into brewing now. *sigh* Ddarkeshrine

Jul 29, 2019 760 0 0 Yeah, the Lich deals a lot even in diamond armor. It's definitely one of the most, if not the most, difficult boss in the mod. There's not really much help for me to give though. Iirc, the enderpearl it shoots isn't a "projectile" for things that do things with that(I remember an item that bounces back projectiles, but i don't remember the mod). The best help I can give is to tell you that if you don't think you can bounce it back, then dodge it. TType1Ninja

Jul 29, 2019 1,393 -7 0 Are you sure the Twilight Lich is the one you need to kill first? I think it's the Naga... I may have misunderstood you, though; you seem to have gotten past the "barrier" (which I know exists but have never encountered). Aalfblack

Jul 29, 2019 41 0 0 I've already killed the Naga (didnt know it was part of the chain). Found it early. Killed it pre Powersuit and using generic minecraft bow. Nice combat to practice archery. Did find the hydra with it shields on. I skipped him. But the Lich area didnt seem to have any of that field. Read somewhere that Quantum suits and Nano Suits are very good protection vs the Lich. I have a nano suit.. Havent gotten Quantum since Iridium is a loot item and I only have 11. Havent figured out how to convert RF to what the Mass Fab requires. Also read that the Tinker's construct Rapier is good vs lich because it bypasses armour. Time to make a cobat rapier!alfblack

It's rather inefficient (10 RF -> 1 EU last time I checked, as opposed to the "actual" 4 RF -> 1 EU), and magma crucibles are slow, so you need a lot of them (or augments)... Power Converters is a mod that can convert between RF, EU, and a few others and back at no loss (by default). However, I'm not sure if it's in very many packs these days. Another option is to take whatever you're producing your RF with and divert some of it to EU production. Lava power? Geothermal generators. Tree farm? Make charcoal or planks (via TE sawmill, which I've heard is slightly more efficient if you burn the sawdust). Actively-cooled Big Reactor? Send some steam to a Railcraft turbine. DClick to expand...

Click to expand...If your first hit with that will noticeably deal damage to his health bar it works but if you still have to burn through his shields even with the rapier it doesn't actually help you at all. You would be better off with a generic damage weapon, smite probably works better than raw sharpness. A

Jul 29, 2019 41 0 0 I got my revenge!! Rapier worked great on the first stage. Easily destroyed his shields. I switched to my regular sword to do maximum damage. Fight became quite easy.- Forums
