23 Sep, 2017 @ 8:11am Dino Color id finder Hello,is there a code or mod that shows the color ids for each region of the targeted dino?I want to know what colors my dino exactly are. It can be difficult to see the difference between 38 and 8 for example, especially without a reference dino.~Jakob Last edited by Jakob; 23 Sep, 2017 @ 8:12am < > Showing 1-7 of 7 comments

17 Jan, 2021 @ 12:26pm I know it's late, but nowadays you can use the "dino storage v2" mod and when you put a dino into a soul (the version of Kryopods from this mod) then you can see the number of the region followed by the id of the color #4

Originally posted by Jakob:Thanks but unfortunatly thats not an answer to my question. Ofc I know whats possible per region but I wanted to know if there is a code / mod to find out which of the possible colors my dinos are. Like a spyglass. As I said before without reference you cant really see if its a grey or more yeti color. I know that i can force color a dino to compare - but still.in that case, there is no way to see! not even a mod that give you that power. maybe ask a modder to make a special spyglass! i see no point in this really but why not ask.i do wonder why do you need to see the color id if you don't want to change it with admin commands/cheats there is no legal way to change base dino colors anyways so why the fuzz over what id the dino has :D. but he if you want that, you will need to look at modders no other way, sorry. #3
