Why cant we make a custom recipe for end game play to heal our dinos.. I think its bs that we can only use wild meat unless we buy/tame a daodon. But who would take a daeodon to a cave?

I think that a custom recipe to heal dinos is a good idea.. I know I would take advantage of it... Maybe it will be added in the future..

They have sweet veggie cakes, I doubt they will make something more powerful since the whole reason we have to have that pause between meat force feeds is to prevent instantaneous healing.

Sweet Veggie cakes are for herbivores and not carnivores. Like having a recipe for the carnivores to use during a boss battle would be great. But it would only be available to use there. Cause using the healing pig cost so much food.

Tame some sheep, harverst them with a Therzi in weekend time (x2), and cook the mutton. One cooked mutton will refill 50 food. Also works with cooked prime.

also works with (dodo) kibble - they are light, nutritious(60), easy to make, stack better and last longer. Iguanodon kibble restores 120 points of food.

its heal/food efficiency scales with amount of dinos it heals at once so if you account for all 20 dinos it can affect in a boss fight - it is quite cheap.

You can also use rex kibble, I know its more costly than dodo kibble but it refills 90 food. And considering youd have more than 20 rexes for bossing, rex eggs are pretty easy to come by. I pick up almost 50 rex eggs a day for the time I play and with 5 preserving bins make 150 prime jerky per day. We'd use iguanodon kibble but we only have 3 females so the eggs are slower.

It's not the food we are speaking of its the healing aspect.

no need for other aspect

As end game, high level tames with high hp inside hard caves and stuff I shouldn't have to spend time spamming E to heal my tame. I should be able to make a end game recipe to heal dinos faster. I think you missed the idea of this thread.

Honestly think about it though, who will take a daeodon to a cave?

Seriously, you would waste time carrying your first mount to the cave. Then travel all the way back home to pick up a second mount to the cave so that you can heal. But hold on, that means you're halfway through the cave; but well you need to heal NOW, so now you have to exit the cave to go heal and then have to go back in. You see how redundant and slow process all of that is? It's just none of this is practical nor logical.

I raid hard caves.

A daeodon is just not practical for cave running, it is only practical for boss fights.

1. Define "high level tames" - are they tamed dinos or bred ones, what species?

2. Define "high HP". Because usual cave exploration mounts dont have high amount of hp (relatively to boss-class species).

3. Define "Hard Cave" because those 2 ground-level ones on The Island aren't that "hard" and there is more - you cant bring ride-able tames into the snow one (same for Rag one) unless you breed, download or teleport them inside. In either case it shouldn't be hard to do same with the pig or 2.

4. Those caves were designed to be "hard" so asking for "easy mode" heal for an already cheesy way to do the cave is wrong anyway. Bring guns/friends/whatever and dont rush.

I just finished rasing a daeodon . average fella with 370% melee 9k hp 15k food after imprinting. That pig will do more cave mayhem than your average bear. They are very hard mounts. Fought and kill several deathworms without problem. So not only they are boss mounts they are very mean killers everywhere rororoxor Hide Armor Posted December 6, 2017

Just take a thyla, they already have a pretty high base hp-you wont need to heal
