Overview

This diploma programme is specially designed to educate students to be designers who go beyond mere learning. Courses in this programme will nurture design capabilities – working across a range of industries requiring visual communication i.e. from commercial, educational to environmental, cultural and civic sectors.

Today, Visual Arts has become a global language. We are living in an information-driven society surrounded by texts and images and supplemented by powerful and influential visual depictions of messages. These visual arts, may they be static or dynamic, are applied in a communicative, symbolistic and expressionistic manner with great effects especially in today’s high-tech and gadget driven world.

Entry Requirement

SPM/SPMV/O-Level

3 Credits

STPM/A-LEVEL

1 subject with Grade C (GP 2.00) and above

STAM

Grade Maqbul

UEC

3 Subjects with Grade B

SKM (MQF LEVEL 3)

SKM in Arts and Design or related field + Bridging Programme

CERTIFICATE (MQF LEVEL 3)

Eligible to apply with related field CGPA of 2.00

SIJIL KOLEJ KOMUNITI (MQF LEVEL 3)

Eligible to apply + Bridging Programme

RELATED TECHNICAL/ or 1 VOCATIONAL/ EQUIVALENT CERTIFICATE (MQF LEVEL 3)

Eligible to apply CGPA of 2.00 + 1 year working experience Semester of Bridging Programme

Pass an interview and a drawing test (conducted by UCSF)
