The Real Dirty Dancing – Premiering Feb. 1 on FOX!

Dirty Dancing, the unforgettable summer love story that danced its way into the American pop culture hall of fame back in 1987, is back in the limelight! FOX TV’s upcoming celebrity dance competition, The Real Dirty Dancing, filmed at the resort where it all began 35 years ago, Mountain Lake Lodge in Virginia.  The four-part series airs Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 on FOX at 9 PM ET.  Hosted by Stephen “tWitch” Boss, it features eight celebrity contestants – Brie Bella, Corbin Bleu, Tyler Cameron, Cat Cora, Howie Dorough, Antonio Gates, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes and Loni Love.

In honor of the anniversary and to celebrate the show’s revival of Dirty Dancing, Mountain Lake Lodge has put together a few special opportunities to recreate the iconic movie for yourself when you visit the resort, including the Kellerman’s Film Package, and Dirty Dancing weekends!

If you’ve caught the Dirty Dancing fever again, it might be time to plan a trip to Southwest Virginia. While Baby and Johnny’s original story was set at the fictional Kellerman Resort in the Catskills of New York State, the film was shot largely at the idyllic Mountain Lake Lodge in Pembroke, Virginia.

You can still visit this instantly recognizable locale, and have yourself an equally memorable summer vacation (but perhaps less dramatic). The resort offers an array of outdoor activities as seen on-screen, and has special themed weekends that feature film tours, dance instruction, and celebrations of all things Dirty Dancing.
